Other Potential Applications

The Ant Pro's weather-tolerant, continuous gravity-feed attributes make it a potential delivery device for use in the control of a broad spectrum of insects.  The hope is that entomologists and other pest management specialists will explore the possibility of including our dispenser in their study programs. We see such synergism could be mutually beneficial and lead to improved pest management.

The following is a suggested check list to prospect for Ant Pro bait dispenser applications:

  1. Any insect that can be lured to feed at the AntPro weather-sheltered, continuous gravity-feed, liquid bait dispenser is a possible candidate for this delivery system.

  2. The bait is to have an active ingredient that can be used to eliminate the insect infestation by means of biorational chemicals, insect growth regulators, mating disruption pheromones, Bt proteins, virus or other such means.

  3. The bait is to have an attractant that can lure the targeted insects to feed on the liquid bait.

  4. The bait is to have a liquid carrier that can hold the active ingredient and the attractant in solution to permit the continuous, gravity feeding of the bait over an extended period of time.

Please provide us with your thoughts as to how the Ant Pro dispenser might be adapted to meet your requirements and we will try to accommodate.
